17.3 Opening a Web Browser

You can open a Web browser within the Designer utility. The Web browser button is available from the main toolbar.

When you first launch the browser, you are prompted for a home page. After you enter the URL, it is stored in Preferences.

To change the URL:

  1. Select Window > Preferences.

  2. Select Designer for IDM .

  3. Click the Browser tab.

  4. Type the new URL, then click OK.

You can also open an internal Web browser view by selecting Window > Show View > Other and then selecting the Internal Web Browser option under the General heading.
