Designer is an Eclipse-based tool that helps you design, deploy, and document your Identity Manager system. You can use Designer's graphical interface, to design and test your system in an offline environment, deploy the system into your production environment, and document all details of your deployed system.
You can upgrade Designer to Designer 4.0 before you upgrade your Identity Manager infrastructure. Designer 4.0 is included as a feature of Identity Manager 4.0. For Designer 4.0 documentation see the Identity Manager 4.0 documentation Web site.
