This readme contains the known issues for all of the drivers. For installation and configuration instructions, refer to the implementation guides provided on the Drivers Documentation Web site.
When you open the DirXML PassSync Filter configuration utility (by double-clicking it in the Control Panel), the first time you use the utility it asks you whether this is the machine where the driver is running. The only option that is supported at this time is the Yes option.
If you try to use the DirXML PassSync utility to configure the filter on a machine where the driver is not configured to run, the driver cannot publish passwords, it can only subscribe.
You might see this issue if you are running multiple instances of the driver shim on a single computer where some instances run as a service and others run as an application. For instance, this might occur when eDirectoryTM, Identity Manager, and an instance of the ADDriver are running natively as a service, and the Remote Loader is running as an application. This problem is solved by running the Remote Loader as a service.
If you are synchronizing the eDirectory Login Expiration Time attribute with the Active Directory accountExpires attribute, you might notice that the Microsoft* Management Console Users and Computers snap-in (UAC) displays an account expiration date the day before the eDirectory account. This is because the way UAC displays the information. UAC is not giving you the day on which the account expires, but it is the last full day in which the account is valid. If you set the account to expire at 5:00 PM on July 15th, the last full day when the account is valid is July 14th.

In the autoexec.ncf file, change "sys:system\GRPWISE.NCF" to "protect sys:system\GRPWISE.NCF" and restart the server.

If you are running more than one Manual Task Service driver on the same server, the way the DirXML engine handles credentials has been fixed for two cases:
The settings for each driver are now preserved, instead of being overwritten whenever a different driver authenticates to the SMTP server.
Ensure that you upgrade the ypserv version to 2.6.1 or higher if you are using ypserv version 2.x.
Execute the following command to check the ypserv version:
