16.2 Can I cancel a policy that is running?

You can stop a running policy by selecting the pair in the Management Console, then selecting Actions > Stop running process. This stops all policies currently running on the pair.

To ensure that a policy does not run at its next scheduled time, go to the policy’s Properties dialog box and unschedule it. For information, see Section 10.5.2, Removing a Schedule from a Single Policy.

To stop the policy from running for a given pair, you can disassociate the policy from the pair. For information, see Section 9.6, Associating or Disassociating Pairs and Policies.
