8.7 Turning Off Notification

  1. Make sure that Notify is running.

  2. Right-click Notify icon in the Windows notification area, then click Exit.

Depending upon how you installed and configured GroupWise, Notify might be set to automatically start when you log in to Windows, or when you start GroupWise.

To stop Notify from starting when you log in to Windows:

  1. Click Start > All Programs > Startup.

  2. Right-click Notify, then click Delete.

  3. Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete Notify.

To stop Notify from starting when you start GroupWise:

  1. With GroupWise open, click Tools > Options.

  2. Click Environment > General.

  3. Deselect Launch Notify at startup.

  4. Click OK.
