Understanding Distribution Lists, eDirectory Groups, and Organizational Roles

GroupWise distribution lists and Novell^® eDirectory^TM groups are sets of users and resources that can be addressed as a single entity. When a GroupWise user addresses an item (message, appointment, task, or note) to a distribution list, eDirectory group, or organization role, each user or resource that is a member receives a copy of the item.
