Working with Documents
The Cross-Platform client is not fully integrated with GroupWise® Document Management Services. In the Cross-Platform client, you can perform the following tasks:
- List the documents in the Default Library folder.
- List the documents in the Authored folder.
- Attach a document reference to an outgoing e-mail message.
- Receive a document reference on an incoming e-mail message.
- Save a document associated with a document reference to disk.
- Associate file extensions with OpenOffice programs and open documents from the Attachments window.
- Search for text in document titles using the Find feature.
In the Cross-Platform client, you cannot perform the following tasks:
- Select or change the default library.
- Create a new document and add it to a library.
- Edit an existing document and return it to a library.
- Import documents into a library.
- Display properties of a document.
- Search for text in the body of a document using the Find feature.
