1) Platform

2) Components to Install:

Mark the components you want to install. You don’t need to install both components at the same time or on the same platform. For more information, see Section 6.3.1, Deciding Where to Install the GroupWise Monitor Components. |
3) Monitor Agent Installation Path: Linux: Windows: |
This item applies only on Windows. Specify the directory path where you want the Monitor Agent software installed. The default directories are:

4) Monitor Agent Network Address:
|
Specify the IP address or DNS hostname of the server where you plan to install the Monitor Agent. Specify the port number for the Monitor Agent to listen on. The Monitor Agent must use a unique port number. For more information, see Monitor Agent Network Address. |
5) System Options
|
Mark whether you want to monitor a GroupWise system, a Messenger system, or both. |
6) Domain Directory: |
Specify a domain directory where a GroupWise 6.x or later MTA is running. For more information, see Domain Directory Path. |
7) Default Language: |
This item applies only on Windows. Select the default language for the Monitor Agent server console interface on the Windows server. For more information, see Windows Installation Option: Default Monitor Agent Language. |
8) Web Server:
|
Mark the Web server you want to use with GroupWise Monitor. For more information, see Section 6.3.1, Deciding Where to Install the GroupWise Monitor Components. |
9) Web Server Path: |
Specify the directory path to the Web server’s root directory. For more information, see Section 6.3.1, Deciding Where to Install the GroupWise Monitor Components. |
10) Novell Root Directory: |
Specify the directory path where you want the Monitor configuration file installed. The default directory is:

11) Java Servlet Engine:

This item applies only on Windows. Select the Java servlet engine you want to use with Monitor. For the Tomcat Servlet Gateway or another Java servlet engine, specify the directory path to the servlet engine. For more information, see Section 6.3.1, Deciding Where to Install the GroupWise Monitor Components. |
12) Default Language: |
Select the default language for the Monitor Web console Interface. For more information, see Default Monitor Web Console Language. |
13) eDirectory Object Configuration:
|
Specify the tree where you are installing Monitor. Specify the context in which the Monitor Installation program should create the GroupWise Monitor and Monitor Provider objects, where configuration information is stored. For more information, see eDirectory Objects and Configuration File. |
14) LDAP Authentication
|
This item applies only on Linux. List the IP address and port of an LDAP server in your system and the username and password that the Monitor Installation program can use to log in to eDirectory to create the Monitor Agent object. If you want to use an SSL connection, specify an SSL certificate file. For more information, see Linux Installation Option: LDAP Information. |
