After your Heartbeat cluster is installed, configured, and running smoothly, you are ready to set up partitions on your shared storage device for use with GroupWise. You can use the Enterprise Volume Management System (EVMS) to create partitions for file systems where GroupWise domains and post offices will be located. Use the following command to start the EVMS Administration Utility:
evmsgui
Do the following to prepare partitions for use by GroupWise:
Delete any existing partitions. They are not the correct type for use with GroupWise.
Create private cluster container partitions. These partitions are cluster aware and prevent two nodes from being active on the same partition at the same time.
