Planning is the key to having a successful implementation and deployment of Identity Manager.
Create a development environment. It is important to have access to an Identity Manager system to validate your Identity Manager solution. You want to do all testing and development in the development environment before changing the production environment. For more information, see Section 1.0, Setting Up a Development Environment.
Create a project plan for deploying Identity Manager. The project plan includes defining your key business processes, creating an Identity Manager solution that automates those processes, and creating a technical implementation plan. To have a successful deployment of Identity Manager, you must have a project plan. For more information, see Section 2.0, Creating a Project Plan.
After you have created a project plan, use Analyzer to clean and prepare your data for synchronization. For more information, see the Analyzer 1.2 for Identity Manager Administration Guide.
