Restoring Filters to NDS or eDirectory from LDIF

To restore filters to NDS or eDirectory from LDIF:

  1. Start ConsoleOne and authenticate yourself.

  2. Select Wizards > NDS or eDirectory Import/Export.

  3. Select Import LDIF File Radio button > Click Next.

  4. Select Source LDIF File > Click Next.

  5. Enter the Server DNS Name/IP Address.

  6. Enter the Port:389.

  7. Select Authenticated Login.

  8. Enter the User Distinguished Name and password in LDIF format > click Next > Finish. For example, of the enties could be cn=admin, o=novell.
