Create a dummy file anywhere on the server. This is required because the utility does not allow you to create the file online.

Start ConsoleOne, then authenticate yourself.

Select Wizards, click NDS, then click Import/Export.

Select the Export LDIF File (the file you created in Step 1) option button, then click Next.

Specify the Server DNS name/IP address.

Specify the Port: 389.

Select Authenticated Login.

Specify the User Distinguished Name and password in LDIF format, then click Next. An example of the entries could be cn=admin, o=novell.

Specify the Distinguished Name of the NBMRuleContainer as the Base Distinguished Name. For example, cn=NBMRuleContainer, O=novell

Select One Level as the scope, then Click Next.

Select the Destination LDIF File, click Next, then click Finish.
