Filr appliances and the file servers that they point to should be in the same time zone and they should use the same reliable NTP time source.
Browsers and access devices can be in different time zones than the appliances and servers that they access because all time-stamp-associated actions are handled using UTC. However, if the desktop is not synced to a reliable time source, there could be some confusion. For example, a time stamp on the server might appear to be in the future
when compared with the time on the desktop.
