When you have finished copying the last log files to the Linux server, you should verify that all the paths and IP address are correct for the Messenger objects.
In ConsoleOne, log in to your eDirectory tree.
Browse to and right-click the Messenger Server object, then click Properties.
On the Server Identification page, verify that the IP address or DNS hostname is correct for the Linux server.
Click the Server tab, then click General.
Verify that the software path and work path are correct for the Linux server.
Click the Server tab, then click Security.
If you are using Client/Server SSL, verify that the certificate path, SSL certificate, and SSL key are correct for the Linux server.
Browse to and right-click the Messaging Agent object, then click Properties.
On the Agent Identification page, verify that the IP address or DNS hostname is correct for the Linux server.
Click the Agent tab, then click General.
Verify that the work path is correct for the Linux server.
Click the Agent tab, then click Security.
If you are using Client/Server SSL, verify that the certificate path, SSL certificate, and SSL key are correct for the Linux server.
Click the Agent tab, then click Log Settings.
Verify that the log file path is correct for the Linux server.
Click the Agent tab, then click Messaging.
Verify that the messaging queue path is correct for Linux.
Browse to and right-click the Archive Agent object, then click Properties.
On the Agent Identification page, verify that the certificate path, SSL certificate, and SSL key are correct for the Linux server.
Click the Agent tab, then click General.
Verify that the work path is correct for the Linux server.
Click the Agent tab, then click Security.
If you are using Client/Server SSL, verify that the certificate path, SSL certificate, and SSL key are correct for the Linux server.
Click the Agent tab, then click Log Settings.
Verify that the log file path is correct for the Linux server.
Click the Agent tab, then click Messaging.
Verify that the queue path is correct for Linux.
Browse to and right-click the FileModule object, then click Properties.
On the Module Store Settings page, verify that the store path is correct for Linux.
Open the Web Console for your Archive Aget.

Click the Configuration tab.
Click Archive Maintenance.
Select Delete & Regenerate Indexes, then click Submit.
Wait for the archive agent to finish deleting and regenerating the indexes.
When you have verified and made any changes to IP address and paths in ConsoleOne, you can then start the Messaging Agent and Archive Agent on the Linux server.
To start the Messaging Agent, enter the following command from a terminal window:
./novell-nmma start
To start the Archive Agent, enter the following command from a terminal window:
./novell-nmaa start
