The information in this Readme pertains to the Messenger 3 Support Pack 2.
Product Data Collection: Anonymous product usage and information collection has been added to Messenger 3.0.2. Enabled by default, this sends the collected information to Novell to help us improve the product. You can disable this option during the install/upgrade or by using a startup switch. For more information, see /productinfo in the Novell Messenger 3.0 Administration Guide.
New SSL Startup Switches: Additional startup switches have been added for SSL to both the Messaging agent and the Archive agent:
/dhparm: Allows you to specify a Diffie-Hellman parameters file for SSL/TLS.
/ssloption: Allows you to disable specific SSL protocols.
New Platform Support: The following platforms are now supported:

Mac 10.10 (Yosemite)
Mac 10.11 (El Capitan)
Mobile:
iOS 7 is no longer supported. You must be on iOS 8 or higher.

Some of the issues identified in the initial release of Messenger 3.0 have been resolved with this release. For a list of the resolved issues, see the download page for Messenger 3.0.2.

If you upgrade your OS from SLED 11 SP3 to SLED 11 SP4, java for the Messenger client breaks. To fix this issue, please reinstall the Messenger client.
