3.3 Enabling the Administration Console for Multiple Network Interface Cards

Making the Administration Console available for all network interface cards (NICs) is a security risk. However, you might want to allow this situation if, for example, the Identity Server has multiple NICs and is also available on all ports. You must modify the /var/opt/novell/tomcat4/conf/server.xml file as follows:

  1. Open the /var/opt/novell/tomcat4/conf/server.xml file in a text editor.

  2. Locate the connector with the NIDP_Name="connector" set.

  3. Delete the address attribute.

  4. Save the file.
