22.0 Uninstalling Components

The uninstall tool allows you to perform a component uninstall. Removing a component is the same whether you used a Basic or Advanced install.

NOTE:To uninstall eDirectory™, you must first uninstall iManager.

Uninstall does not always completely remove a package. Manual removal of configuration files and binaries might be required.

  1. To uninstall a component, log in to the NOWS SBE console, then click Add/Remove.

  2. Click Uninstall next to the component you want to remove.

  3. Click Uninstall again to proceed with the uninstall. Click Cancel to stop the uninstall.

  4. The component uninstall is now complete. Click Finish to return to the available software page.
