15.3 Post-Installation

Further firewall configuration is necessary to secure your system. Without further configuration, the administration interface is exposed to all other networked interfaces.

15.3.1 Firewall Configuration

  1. Log in to the NOWS SBE console.

  2. Click Products and Services.

  3. Under Select Component, click Firewall (IPTables).

  4. Under Administrative Console, click Firewall Administration.

  5. Specify the port configuration, then click Save Changes. You should disable outside access to this administration interface.
