21.2 Installing TightVNC Advanced

  1. Log into the NOWS SBE console.

  2. Click Add/Remove > All. Scroll down to TightVNC and click Install.

  3. Select Advanced, then click Next.

  4. Specify advanced service options.

    • Automatically Start Service: Indicate if the service should start automatically.

    • Connection Password: Set a password for administrator (root) VNC connections.

  5. Review the settings. To make a change, click Back. To proceed with the installation, click Next.

  6. The TightVNC installation is now complete. Click Finish to proceed to the available software page.

TightVNC is now listed on the installed software list.
