The host I/O reports an NFS Stale Handle error immediately after failover is performed on the cluster.
This problem can occur if a user attempts to access the IP address of the resource before the volume is mounted or after the volume is dismounted. You can modify the order of commands in a load script to: NSS, NFS, IP, NCP, [AFP], and [CIFS | Samba]. Reverse the order in an unload script. This allows storage to be mounted before the IP address is bound, and to be dismounted after the IP address is unbound. Adjust your scripts to this order, then take the resource offline and bring it online to apply the changes. For sample scripts, see Section 12.10, Adding NFS Export for a Clustered Pool Resource.
