This setting is of interest only in environments where there are multiple Primary Servers; however, it is discussed here because it affects disk space and network load.
The setting determines if a Primary Server automatically receives content from other Primary Servers or if content is not delivered automatically to this server. This rule is configured with a default include value at the Configuration > Primary Server Replication menu, but it can be overwritten at various deeper folder levels.

In environments with multiple Primary Servers, it is often desirable to keep one particular server for Linux patches only and to not replicate Windows patches to that server. If this is a requirement for you, you should exclude the server from the list of Primary Server replication at the Windows folder level. You might also want to avoid replicating all Linux patches to each Satellite Server.
