IMPORTANT:You must access iManager multiple times in this guide. If you get a Tomcat error in response to any launch requests, see Section A.2, iManager Tomcat Error.
Novell iManager is the main browser-based tool you use to manage eDirectory and your OES 2 services.
To start iManager and prepare your browser for future sessions:
On your getting-started lab workstation, in your Web browser, open the OES 2 Welcome page by entering the following URL:
http://IP_or_DNS
where IP_or_DNS is the IP address or DNS name of your OES 2 server.
Click the
tab.On the Available Services page, click
.You can also start iManager directly by including /nps after IP_or_DNS in the access URL. For example, enter http://192.168.1.100/nps.
You should receive a security alert, such as a warning that the connection is not trusted.
Select the options to continue, such as
> .Make sure that the option to permanently store the exception is selected if available, then confirm the exception.
Log in as the eDirectory Admin user:
In the admin.
field, typeIn the
field, type the eDirectory Admin user password.In the example_tree.
field, typeIf SLP services are not working properly, you need to enter the IP address instead of the tree name.
Click
