If the source server is an OES 2 SP3 server and the source volume is a shared volume: The move or split might get scheduled if the DFS Volume Manager is unable to locate the source volume.
On the source server, check the /var/log/messages file for more information. If the message, Failed to find source volume
is present for the job ID, perform the following:
Open a terminal console on the source server, then log in as the root user.
At the terminal console prompt, unload tsafs by entering the following command:
smsconfig -u tsafs
Load the tsafs by entering the following command:
smsconfig -l tsafs --showclustervolumesonnode
If the target server is an OES 2 Linux server and the target volume is a shared volume: The move or split operation might get scheduled if the DFS Volume Manager is unable to find the target volume.
On the source server, check the /var/log/messages file for more information. If the message, Failed to find target volume
is present for the job ID, reload tsafs on the node on which the target volume is currently active:
Open a terminal console on the target server, then log in as the root user.
At the terminal console prompt, unload tsafs by entering the following command:
smsconfig -u tsafs
At the terminal console prompt, enter
smsconfig -l tsafs
