Novell Cluster Services for Open Enterprise Server (OES) 11 and later supports cluster resources for Linux POSIX volumes that you created with the Enterprise Volume Management System (EVMS) and the Cluster Segment Manager (CSM) on OES 2 SP3 or earlier OES servers. This section describes how to modify the scripts and cluster settings for the existing resources so they can run on OES 11 or later clusters.
IMPORTANT:Beginning in OES 11, Novell Cluster Services creates LVM volume group resources for Linux POSIX file systems. To create new resources, see Section 14.0, Configuring and Managing Cluster Resources for Shared LVM Volume Groups.
