8.2 Unable to Open a File in NetStorage if the File is already Open through Novell client On a Different Server

Using Novell Client, if you map a network drive and open a file (using external application such as OpenOffice), then the same file cannot be opened using the WebDAV client of NetStorage. You will receive an I/O error instead of the file getting opened in ReadOnly mode.

You must close the already opened file and then try opening it again through the WebDAV client.
