2.0 Accessing SecureLogin

Novell® SecureLogin runs on your workstation. To access the Personal Management Utility of SecureLogin, do one of the following:

Click Start > Programs > Novell SecureLogin > Novell SecureLogin.
Double-click the SecureLogin icon on the task bar.
Right-click the SecureLogin icon on the task bar, then select Manage Logins.

The following figure illustrates the Personal Management Utility of SecureLogin:

Changes made in the Personal Management Utility of SecureLogin apply to the User object. They override any settings made at the directory container or organizational unit level. Use the Personal Management Utility for the following tasks:

Configure standalone installs.
Test changes to preferences.
Create or modify application definitions for testing, before mass deployment.
Configure a specific user (for example, the Administrator) within a container, so that the container settings do not apply.
Troubleshoot (for example, disable SecureLogin and then manually log in to an application).
