In NSMAdmin, click the Main tab.

Click Storage Management.

Browse to and select the group or container that you specified in Step 5.

Right-click the group or container and select Group Actions > Manage.

Verify that Run in Check Mode is selected, then click Run.

Verify that the following message appears in the lower panel of the window:

Catalog Existing Managed Path Location.

Deselect the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.

From the Management Action menu, select Apply Attributes.

Select the Use policy definitions check box.

Select the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.

Verify that the following message appears in the lower panel of the window:

Apply attributes will be applied for object.

Deselect the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.

From the Management Action menu, select Apply Quota.

Verify that the Set quota for directories that do not have quota defined option is selected.

Select the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.

Verify that the following message appears in the lower panel of the window:

Apply quota will be scheduled for object.

Deselect the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.

From the Management Action menu, select Apply Rights.

Select the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.

Verify that the following message appears in the lower panel of the window:

Apply rights will be scheduled for object.

Deselect the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.

From the Management Action menu, select Groom.

Select the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.

Verify that the following message appears in the lower panel of the window:

Groom scheduled for object.

Deselect the Run in Check Mode check box, then click Run.
