Novell® Teaming is an enterprise collaboration tool designed to increase individual productivity, team effectiveness, and organizational success by providing the right set of tools to the right people. Key teaming features include Team workspaces, calendars, task lists, document management, discussion threads, wikis, blogs, RSS feeds, and workflows.
Teaming enables ordinary users to perform content-management functions. Because all Teaming users need to manage a personal workspace, and also have the ability to create team workspaces, all users have the potential to become “advanced Teaming users.”
Although all Teaming users have the ability to become advanced users, many users never have the need to progress beyond the basic Teaming functionality. This is because Teaming lends itself to two main groups: content consumers and content providers.
