Before running snAppShot on a workstation to create an installation package for an application, you should:
Make sure the workstation is clean. A clean workstation has only the operating system and the Novell ClientTM installed.
Make sure the workstation is representative of the type of workstation to which the application will be distributed. For example, if you are distributing the application to Windows 2000 users on a Dell* OptiPlex* GX110, run snAppShot on a Dell OptiPlex GX100 running Windows 2000. Depending on the application and what occurs during an install, it may be necessary to create different Application objects to be used for different types of workstations.
