Explanation:  By default, the Scanner does not collect the software information of the workstation. If you want the software inventory, you must enable the Software Scan option in the Inventory policy. The Inventory policy settings are stored in NDS.

Action:  Ensure that the Software Scan option is enabled in the Inventory policy.
