816: Unable to create the rights for the SCANDIR directory on the server servername.

Severity:  Critical

Explanation:  The installation program assigns the [Root] as a Trustee of the SCANDIR directory with Create rights. This error occurs if the installation program is unable to assign Create rights to the SCANDIR directory.

Action:  Run the installation program. If the problem persists, contact Novell Technical Services.
