Explanation:  The configuration file (.EXP) contains the data export settings. The settings that are stored are the inventory components you selected and the query formed for filtering the workstations. If you open an existing .EXP file, the stored settings will be loaded. This error occurs if the file is corrupted and the Data Export tool is unable to read the file.

Action:  From ConsoleOne, run the Data Export tool. Save the data export settings in a configuration file (.EXP) file.
