Choose the Deployment Devices and Groups

This wizard page is displayed if you selected the Deploy System Updates to Selected Devices in the Management Zone option.

  1. To add devices or groups to the deployment configuration, click Add.

  2. Browse for and select the devices or device groups to include in the system update deployment, then click OK.

    This is useful for deploying to a test group.

    IMPORTANT:You should complete deployment of the system update to all Primary Servers before deploying to the other managed devices, because a newly updated managed device might not be able to correctly communicate with a Primary Server that has not yet been updated. It depends on the content of the update.

  3. When you have finished selecting the devices, click Next to continue.

    The Choose the Deployment Schedule wizard page is displayed next.
