You can track the usage of Hybrid Workspaces (HW) applications by integrating HW with ZENworks Asset Management (ZAM). The administrator can track the usage of any software application that is streamed using HW and then view this information as part of ZENworks Asset Management Usage Reports.
To track the usage of HW applications:
Integrate a ZENworks server with the Hybrid Workspaces server.
Log in to any Windows agent device and stream some applications from the HW server.
After the applications are streamed and closed, the usage data is captured and reported in the Usage Reports section of Asset Management.
You can view the device (HW device) information in ZENworks Control Center by navigating to Devices > Inventoried > Servers or Workstations
NOTE:
All HW devices are represented with the icon to differentiate them from other devices ( Inventory-Only Agents (IOA)/Managed).
All the usage information from the HW device will be displayed with Hybrid Workspaces as the manufacturer name.
HW usage and the normal usage are not unified. The normal usage will be shown with the respective manufacturer names, and the HW usage will be displayed with Hybrid Workspaces as the manufacturer name. This is particularly done to differentiate the HW usage from the normal usage.
