4.4 Updating a Certificate for a User Source

NOTE:This section is applicable only for Active Directory and eDirectory user sources.

A certificate is used to allow secure communication between devices and user sources. If your certificate expires or you want to change the certificate, you need to update the certificate.

NOTE:ZENworks prompts you to update the certificate 90 days before the expiration of the certificate. ZENworks will fail to establish a secure connection with the LDAP server if the certificate has expired.

  1. In ZENworks Control Center, click the Configuration tab.

  2. In the User Sources panel, click the user source.

  3. In the Connections panel, click a connection to display the Edit Connection Details dialog box.

  4. Click Update.
