Memory Utilization Optimizing Switch
A new memory optimizing switch is introduced to minimize the memory utilization while running multiple reports with different sizes in the Inventory Web reporting. By enabling this switch in the back-end, you can optimize the memory utilization while running any Inventory Web report.
By default, the memory optimization switch is disabled for Inventory reports. When you enable the switch, the following changes are displayed in the Inventory report:
A Summary column will be displayed for storing the counts.
When you click any file, the file will be downloaded in the .zip format. This .zip file contains two files, the actual report in .csv or .pdf format, and the properties file. This properties file provides information about the actual record count and the time taken to download the report.
The report count will not be displayed on the Reports Summary page. Instead, a new option Many is displayed. You can click the Many option to view the total report counts.
For more information, see Optimizing Memory Utilization for Inventory Reports. in the ZENworks Asset Inventory Reference.
