You can view the results of the discovery activities performed on your device when it acts as a Windows Proxy for the ZENworks Primary Server. Your device can act as a Windows Proxy for:
Linux Primary Servers that cannot perform discovery tasks by using Windows-specific technologies such as WMI, WinAPI, and SNMP
Windows Primary Servers if the devices to be discovered are in a different subnet than the Primary Server
To view the discovery results:
Double-click the icon in the notification area.
In the left navigation pane, click
.The Discovery Results panel displays the following details:

Displays the discovery task name created by the ZENworks Administrator. |

Displays the target device’s hostname or IP address. |

Displays the name and status of each discovery technology (WMI, WinAPI, SNMP) used for the discovery process. For more information on each discovery technology, see ZENworks 11 SP2 Discovery, Deployment, and Retirement Reference. |

Displays the date and time when the discovery task was run. |
(Optional) To remove all the discovery results from the Discovery Results panel, click
, then refresh the page.
