This task mounts an NSS volume for use with standard NetWare clients.
At the server console prompt, mount the newly created NSS volume by entering the following command:
mount volume_name
where volume_name is the name of the new NSS volume.
You can use the mount all command if preferred.
When you enter NSS volumes from the command line, you see the new NSS volume and an additional NSS_Admin volume---a read-only volume that contains configuration information describing NSS objects.
NOTE: CD-ROMs recognized by NSS are mounted automatically. In NetWare 5, this happens when the NetWare 5 version of the CDROM.NLM is loaded. The CD and CD-ROM utilities used in previous releases of NetWare are no longer supported. See Other Volumes That NSS Creates.
