Package com.novell.afw.portlet.api Description

Provides interfaces that define the Portlet 1.0 API's for the Director product. There are several distinct groups of interfaces defined here:

• Those for accessing the read only data about the deployed portlet application, the main interface being the EbiPortletAppModel.
• Those for accessing runtime portlet representation such as EbiPortletEntity and EbiPortletRegistration and manipulating the container's representation of portlets such EbiPortletContainer, EbiPortletConsumerContainer and EbiPortletConsumerRegistry.
• Those for accessing and manipulating the preferences for portlets such as EbiPortletPreference, EbiPortletPreferences,EbiPortletPreferencesWritable and thier subclasses as well as the EbiPortletInfoMananger which gives provides runtime access, persistence and caching of porltet preferences at all levels (User, Registtration, Page Assignment, Default/Descriptor).
• Those for accessing and manipulating a portlets portal facing settings (preferences are maintained by the portlet producer, while settings are maintained by the consumer (portal)). The main interface of interest is EbiPortletSettings.
