GroupWise provides four item types: mail messages, appointments, tasks, and notes. Mail messages are used for standard correspondence where you need to communicate information in a message format. Received messages show up in your Mailbox and sent messages are stored in your Sent Items folder.

Appointments, tasks, and notes are date-dependent. They are best managed through the Calendar. For information about the Calendar and using appointments, tasks, and notes, see Section 3.0, Calendar.
