7.9 Field Patch

You can manage field test patches for the iPrint Appliance from the Field Patch page. You can install new patches, view currently installed patches, and uninstall patches.

  1. On a Web browser, use either the DNS name or the IP address to access the Management Console. For example, https://10.0.0.1:9443 or https://iprint.example.com:9443.

  2. Click the Appliance System Configuration icon.

  3. Click Field Test Patch.

  4. (Optional) Install a Downloaded Patch:

    1. Before you can install a patch, you first need to download it from the Novell Support web site to your management workstation.

    2. From the Field Test Patch page on the iPrint appliance, click Browse.

    3. Browse to and select the patch that you downloaded in Step 4.a.

    4. Click Install.

  5. (Optional) Manage Installed Patches: Uninstall Patch

    1. Click Uninstall Latest Patch to uninstall the latest patch. You may not be able to uninstall some patches.

  6. (Optional) Manage Installed Patches: Download Log File

    1. Click Download Log File to download the log file. This file includes details about patch installation.
