Performance Tuning

You can optimize the NFS Gateway performance by tuning the mount parameters to suit the requirements of your network and machine configuration.

• If you are using NFS version 2, tune the gymount parameters based on Tuning for NFS Version 2 .
• Complete the steps in Configuring NFS Gateway for the First Time .
• Configure the NFS Gateway parameters ShadowCacheSize and PageCacheSize based on Setting NFS Gateway Parameters .
• Tune the mount parameter combination of rpcTimeOut, MaxOutstandingPackets, readSize, and writeSize based on Mount Parameters Combinations .
• Tune the readSize and writeSize for the NFS Gateway read and write directory operations based on Mounting Parameters .
• Tune for NFS Gateway usage based on NFS Gateway Usage .
• Tune the NSS parameters based on Modifying NSS Settings .
