In addition to working with files within Filr as described in the following sections, you can also use the Filr desktop application to synchronize Filr files with your desktop. You can create files, edit files, and much more. For more information, see the Filr Desktop Application for Windows Quick Start and the Filr Desktop Application for Mac Quick Start.
Filr gives you easy access to folders and files on your corporate file system. The corporate files that you have access to are defined by your Filr administrator. In Filr, these corporate files are located in an area called Net Folders.
In addition to files in Net Folders, you can also upload files to other areas on the Filr site for easy storage and access. You can even share files with your co-workers and have discussions about them.
