Filr enables you to easily view files.
The following sections describe how to view files in a text editor or in your Web browser in HTML format:
When you view a file that you don’t have rights to modify in a text editor, the file is opened in Read-Only mode.
Navigate to the file that you want to view.
Click the name of the file.
If you want to quickly view a file, you can view it in HTML format in your Web browser.
Some file types cannot be viewed in HTML format, such as PNG, JPG, GIF, and PDF.
File types that can be viewed in HTML format are: .123, .bmp, .db, .doc, .docx, .dotm, .drw,, .dxf, .htm, .html, .lwp, .odf, .odg, .odp, .ods, .odt, .pct, .ppt, .pptx, .prz, .qpw, .rtf, .sdw, .shw, .swx, .tif, .txt, .vsd, .wpd, .xls, .xlsx, .sxi
If files are too large or complex, the request times out after 30 seconds and the file is not displayed.
You can view only the file itself, or the file and its metadata:
