8.22 Turning Off the Sound (Windows and Linux Only)

You can turn off all sounds temporarily.

  1. Right-click the Messenger Online Icon Novell Messenger status icon in the notification area, then select Mute.

  2. To turn on sounds again, repeat Step 1.

If you use mute to turn off sounds, they are turned on again the next time you log in to Novell Messenger.
