12.3 Post-Installation

After you install the HylaFAX server software, users still need to download the JHylaFax client software to each desktop.

12.3.1 Desktop Download for Linux

  1. Log in to the NOWS SBE console.

  2. Click Products and Services.

  3. Under Select Component, click Fax Server (HylaFAX).

  4. Under Desktop Downloads and Linux, click JHylaFAX.

  5. Open a command prompt and enter java -jar jhylafax-1.3.10-app.jar to launch JHylaFAX.

12.3.2 Desktop Download for OS X and Windows

  1. Log in to the NOWS SBE console.

  2. Click Products and Services.

  3. Under Select Component, click Fax Server (HylaFAX).

  4. Under Desktop Downloads, click JHylaFAX for OS X or Windows.

  5. Follow download procedures to download JHylaFax to your desktop.

  6. To launch JHylaFAX, click the JHylaFAX icon on your desktop.
