5.3 Configuring Servers Running the NTP Services

In an automatic migration, all the configuration for migrating the servers is done through backend process.

During a manual migration, you can configure the parameters of each server in a group through a simple or advanced configuration process.

5.3.1 Simple Configuration

Each server in a particular group can be configured individually on certain selected NTP parameters.

  1. On the Configuration Parameters page, specify values for Time Provider and Peer.

  2. Specify the options to enable on the time provider.

  3. Click OK to update the configuration file of the server.

  4. Click Reset to apply the changes made.

5.3.2 Advanced Configuration

This mode of editing is recommended for users familiar with NTP. It helps you to edit the ntp.conf file for making configuration changes.

  1. After configuring the server parameters, Click OK to update them.
