In addition to bug fixes, the April 2011 Scheduled Maintenance patches for OES 2 SP2 and OES 2 SP3 provide the following changes for Novell Cluster Services:
For newly created clustered NSS pools and for newly cluster-enabled existing NSS pools, the default order in the load script has changed to add the secondary IP address before the NSS pool activation. For example:
exit_on_error add_secondary_ipaddress <ip_address> exit_on_error nss /poolact=<pool_name>
The changed order is reflected in the sample unload script in Section 12.5, Configuring a Load Script for the Shared NSS Pool.
For newly created clustered NSS pools and for newly cluster-enabled existing NSS pools, the default order in the unload script has changed to deactivate the NSS pool before deleting the secondary IP address. For example:
ignore_error nss /pooldeact=<pool_name> ignore_error del_secondary_ipaddress <ip_address>
The changed order is reflected in the sample unload script in Section 12.6, Configuring an Unload Script for the Shared NSS Pool.
