To prepare physical media for an installation or upgrade, you must first download ISO image files and then burn the CDs or DVDs that you need for your server. Detailed download instructions are available in Getting and Preparing OES 2 Software
in the OES 2 SP3: Planning and Implementation Guide.
Table 2-5 lists the image files you need, depending on whether your server has a CD drive or a CD/DVD combo drive.

IMPORTANT:You can download the OES 2 CD and the SLES 10 DVD ISO files listed in Table 2-5 from the OES 2 SP3 download page.
The SLES 10 SP4 CD ISO files listed in Table 2-5 are only available on the SLES 10 SP4 download page.
Download the ISO files you need for your hardware capabilities.
Insert a blank, writable CD or DVD into your CD or DVD burner.
Select the option to create a CD or DVD from an image file.
Select as the file type.
Select the first image file (see Table 2-5) from the location you downloaded it to.
Complete the CD or DVD creation process.
Label the disk.
Repeat this process for each of the ISO image files you downloaded.
