2.7 What’s New for OES 2 SP2

In addition to bug fixes, the following capabilities for Dynamic Storage Technology in OES 2 SP2 have been added since the OES 2 SP1 release.

2.7.1 Specifying Multiple Extensions in a Policy

Beginning in OES 2 SP2 Linux, you can specify multiple extensions as Search Pattern options for a given policy. Previously, only one file extension was allowed, requiring multiple policies for each desired extension.

2.7.2 Specifying Multiple Paths to Either Include or Exclude in a Policy

Beginning in OES 2 SP2 Linux, the Subdirectory Restrictions filter allows multiple paths to be specified for being included or excluded in a policy when it runs. You can either specify included paths or excluded paths in a given policy, but not both. Previously, only one path was allowed to be included or excluded in a given policy.
